Section ‘Q’ COOKING

Exhibits to be in pavilion by 9.00 a.m. Saturday 16th September 2023.
RIBBONS: Champion Exhibit and Most Successful Exhibitor.
CARDS: First, Second Third, Champion, and Most Successful Exhibitor.
Entry Fee: $0.50 per exhibit
Prize Money: $15.00 Champion, $10.00 Most Successful Exhibitor (excluding junior section), $5.00 First.
How to enter
Method 1: Complete an entry form, make payment by EFT and send the entry form and proof of payment to molong.show@gmail.com INCLUDING Section Name. Closing date for this method, Monday 11th September 2023.

Method 2: Complete entry form and make payment to the Showground Office by 3pm, Friday 15th September 2023.
Under no circumstances are exhibits to be removed from the pavilion before 4.30pm Sunday 17th September 2023. Uncollected will be disposed the following day clean-up.
Hints for Cooking Section
- Read your recipe, it could mean the difference between success or failure
- All cakes to be cooked in a 20cm round or 20cm square tin, unless otherwise specified (does not need to be strictly adhered to)
- Cakes are not to be cooked in ring tins
- When cooling, do not place you cake on a wire rack
- Icing will not be judged, and iced on top only
- Exhibitors are asked to place exhibits on strong plain paper plates or pre-purchased cake boards (plastic plates are not to permitted) and place their names on the underside of same
- Cover your cakes with cling wrap or plastic bag and attach the entry ticket to the outside of covering and visible
- Enjoy cooking and take pride in what you have created.
Novice Class – Exhibitor who has never won 1st Prize in the specified class
